We respond promptly to valid copyright infringement notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. §512.

Filing a Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content hosted on OrthoImplants infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification containing the following information, as required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):
- Identification of the copyrighted work — a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material — the URL(s) or description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on OrthoImplants, with enough detail for us to find it.
- Your contact information — your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Good faith statement — a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement — a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Signature — a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
Takedown Procedure
Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will:
- Review the notice for completeness and validity.
- Remove or disable access to the identified material within 48 hours of receiving a valid notice.
- Notify the user who submitted the content (if applicable) that the material has been removed.
- Retain a record of the takedown for compliance purposes.
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error or that you have authorization to use the material, you may file a counter-notification containing:
- Identification of the material that was removed and its prior location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to jurisdiction.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, we maintain a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright. Users who repeatedly submit infringing content may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
Good Faith Notice
OrthoImplants operates as an educational reference tool for medical professionals. Technique guides hosted on this Service are submitted by users for educational purposes. We make every effort to attribute content to its rightful copyright holders and will promptly comply with all valid removal requests.
